Globalisation

Throughout this week I was mainly trying to finish my essay concerning globalisation. I spent a lot of my time going through some scholar papers about transnational future – but that is too much to write about today…

But still – let’s face it, globalisation is here and we have to deal with it on one or another way. To do that we first have to look at what it really is. The first thing they thought us is that there is no clear definition of it. It brings good and bad consequences dependent on which side (North or South, East or West) you are and about what subject are we talking about.

Anyway I am pretty sure that sometimes pictures from London say more than the words…

I can't forget my trip to Australia desert where a friend of mine Chinese girl whose English version of name was Grece said:"I would really like to buy some souvenirs to give them to my family and friends, but I don't see the point of buying gifts that were anyway made in China..."

So here for example Chinese guys are working in the other side of the world serving their food in the shirts which say “London” and were probably made in China and with American ship brought here…

I believe that the future of the world and globalisation lies in our hands. We can choose what to except from it and what to reject. And we can do this with the help of the globalisation itself that has joined black, white, asian and other people from different religions, countries and backgrounds, women and men, young and young by heart, reach and poor…

In the end we are all just ambassadors of ourselves in this sometimes chaotic world…
